Black Cosmology
High-rigor Afrofuturist cosmology · lineage frameworks

Built as research engines, not disposable reads.

Black Cosmology is a high-rigor imprint for artists, builders, organizers, and world-makers who refuse shallow myth. Here, the work is spirit + receipts — myth + science + memory — presented as book portals with clear claims, source threads, and living frameworks you can actually build with.

Positioning: high-rigor cosmology for people who build. Method: myth + science + memory · claims + threads · lineage frameworks. Outcome: portals that teach, track, and evolve.

Research Portals, Not Paperbacks

Each Black Cosmology title is paired with a research portal: a living index that turns reading into a usable system. You don’t just finish a chapter — you leave with a map.

Coverage of the Idea

Key claims → supporting threads → counterpoints → what changes if the claim is true.

  • Clear thesis statements
  • Evidence threads / “receipts” lanes
  • Boundary definitions (what it is / isn’t)
  • Implications for culture, art, and strategy

Lineage Frameworks

Memory is architecture. Lineages are not vibes — they are trackable inheritance paths.

  • Lineage maps (conceptual + cultural)
  • Glossary with cross-links
  • Ancestor threads + modern echoes
  • “If you’re new, start here” routes

Build-With-This Tooling

Designed for creators and organizers to apply: narrative engines, curriculum, and world frameworks.

  • World-building matrices
  • Art direction / motif libraries
  • Workshop prompts + study sequences
  • Organizer-ready frameworks

Book Portals

Every book page uses a clear structure: Read SampleLearn MoreGet the Book. Below are portal templates you can rename and link to real book URLs when ready.

What does “spirit + receipts” mean?

We hold room for spirit, myth, and memory — and we also track threads: source notes, lineage connections, historical receipts, and explicit assumptions. The portal format makes the structure visible, so the reader can evaluate, build, and extend the work.

Is this academic-only?

No. It’s rigorous, but built for use: artists, builders, organizers, educators, and world-makers. The writing is designed to move — and the portal supplies the receipts, reading routes, and frameworks.

How do “research engines” work?

Each title has a portal: glossary, index, claim threads, “start here” routes, and build tools. It’s a navigable system — so new readers enter cleanly, advanced readers go deeper, and builders apply immediately.

Can I license a portal for my org/studio?

Yes. We can build org-specific portals (curriculum lanes, study sequences, internal indices, and operational frameworks). Scope and terms are handled in an SOW/Deliverables attachment.
